Fire It Up

Fire It Up

To sell my car fast I always ensure the engine is in excellent working order. If the car doesnt go (fast) then it is unfair to expect that it will sell (fast). It doesnt actually stop at the engine however. Underneath the hood of any modern car you will likely find a dip stick for more fluids than you know their purpose. A lot of the fluid will rarely need to be checked you will probably never have to top up your brake fluid and unless your power steering is leaking it is pretty safe to assume that will be pretty stable as well. An engine that struggles may burn oil or go through a lot more coolant. If you have to constantly top up the radiator it is worth checking for leaks.

At least a week before I put my car on the market I check all of the fluids. In order to sell my car fast I also check it before a buyer inspects it. Even if you have had it checked out by a mechanic there is just too much that can go wrong in the space of a few days to take a chance with it. Engines have a lot of moving parts and all it takes is something that may seem irrelevant to break and the engine has to work harder to compensate. The engine is the cars work horse. If the engine is struggling you can assume you will probably be struggling to sell the vehicle. Dont be afraid to ask for help if you need it. Ask a friend who may know a little more about cars to check the fluids for you if you are worried about it.

It all begins on the day that you purchase your car. I take pride in my car and to ensure I am able to sell my car fast when the time comes I am meticulous in keeping it well lubricated and stocked up with coolant. Sometimes it might be better to completely empty the radiator and refilling it with coolant instead of constantly topping it up with water from the tap. It is pretty easy to remove a hose at the bottom of the radiator and letting it all drain out.
