Fire Safety: Fire is the most important invention by human beings. It is one of the basic things needed for human life. It is a rapid oxidation that releases heat and light simultaneously. The fire occurs in two phases. They are Flame and Combustion. The flame is a slow burning of glowing gases which liberates heat and light slowly . Combustion occurs as a result of chain reaction where there is a availability of dense oxygen. This chemical reaction liberates a huge amount of heat. This combustion leads to hazardous and unexpected fire accidents.
This release of heat through fire can be used in many ways. The heat can be used for constructive process like cooking, boiling and many other purpose. Setting fire on reusable energy like wood, petrol etc can be used as fuel. The fossil fuels like petroleum, gas and coal supplies the vast majority of the world's electricity today. The fire in a power station is used to heat water, creating steam that drives turbines. The turbines then spin an electric generator to produce electricity. Fire is also used to provide mechanical workdirectly, in both external and internal combustion engines.
The control over the fire was a dramatic change in the habits of early humans. Make fire to generate heat and light for preparing their food and light to keep themselves safe. The heat produced enables them to keep warm in cold climate. It is also used to control wild animals and to create charcoal. But this can be done only if the human has control over the fire. When the control is lost it leads to severe damage. This is known as fire accident.
This lead to very high death at some instance. The fire accidents at forests results in heavy damage to the environment. It takes negative forms in various states. They may come as volcano, forest fire, heavy explosives, and many other. But all these will bring destruction through heat. We cannot fight against the natural calamities, but we can take precautionary measures to prevent fire accidents due to carelessness. This can be made possible by using numerous suitable fire apparatus. The fire prevention is intended to reduce the fire ignition in unwanted cases. This can be done not only by trained people but also by common people.
