Lets us discuss about few steps on How to save a life during a Fire Accident: An Escape Plan from Home/Building To know way out, i.e., each one should be aware of the emergency exit in case of a fire event in home or work place. The aim is to get out of the place quickly and safely. It is always good to know the different ways out from the place as the smoke of the fire can make it harder to see things around. It is also good to have an escape plan of your home or work place.

Stay Low when you see smoke in the premises, try to find your way out and stay low to the ground. In a fire event rather than the fire its only the smoke and poisonous air that hurt the people more. When you stay low to the ground one will breathe less. First choice of an escape route should be to the door that will lead to the outside environment. Also if the fire event is in the top floor, avoid using lift use only the emergency exit. Once you are out from the place, dont try to go back for any reason. You can inform the fire rescue people about anything important were left behind and they may help in that situation.

Clothes catch Fire, during a fire accident a persons cloth could catch fire in that case the person should not run, instead person should stop and drop to the ground, person should cover his or her face with hands and then roll.

Periodic inspection and maintenance of smoke detectors, fire alarm and other fire safety equipments can help us in case of the emergency and to avoid serious damages.
