Finding The Right Network Marketing Program

In a field of over 4,000 network marketing companies in operation today, finding the best multi level marketing business can be challenging to say the least. Everyone says that their products are the best. Everyone claims to have the best pay plan and the best company support and training. Today I want to help you find some clarity in your search for the right program for you.

The mirror is the best place to start your search. It is important that you evaluate the person staring back at you, as you are truly the one that will make or break any MLM business you enter into. There are a few key questions that you need to answer for yourself as you undertake this process. First of all you need to understand why you are wanting to do this. What is the motivation that is leading you towards network marketing in the first place. Your reason for undertaking the business is critical, because without a large enough reason for continuing, you will quit when things get difficult. This motivating reason needs to be put to the test. If you can think of a circumstance outside of severe illness or injury that would cause you to quit, then your reason for entering the business is not big enough to propel you to success.

Once you have determined that your motivation is big enough, you need to also make a gut level decision that your MLM business is the best vehicle to get you to that long term destination. If you lack conviction that an MLM business is the right tool for the job, then go no further. If you are not convinced of the opportunity presented by this type of business, then you are going to have great difficulty convincing anyone else that this business model is right solution for them either.

Now that you have your motivation and convictions about starting a network marketing business nailed down, it is time look at individual companies and their unique business opportunities. Two great resources for learning more about individual companies are the Npros website and the Better Networker website. These two websites will provide you with a brief overview of a wide range of companies. The Better Networker site also allows you to interact with distributors from many different opportunities as well. As you are looking at companies, consider your own interests and passions. Look for companies that offer products and services that are consisetent with your interests. If you cannot see yourself using a company's product or service, then it is probably not the right business for you. Once you have found something that seems to be a good fit for who you are, then it is time to begin examining the company more closely.

When looking at a company there are some common sense questions to that need to be answered. How long has the company been operational? Do they offer marketing materials such as a personalized website? What type of training is offered to new distributors? Do they offer webinars and regular conference calls for their distributors? It is also recommended that you check the company with the Better Business Bureau for a history of complaints. You should also determine if the company is a member of the Direct Selling Association. The reputation of the company in the marketplace is critical to you as a distributor, as it reflects upon you as a representative of the company.

Finally take a look at the compensation model. Does the plan make sense to you? Could you easily explain it to someone else? Look at such things as how many generational levels you are able to receive compensation from. How many stages of advancement are available to you, and how easy is it for a person to advance through those stages.

Taking the time to complete this process will help match you to the network marketing program that gives you the greatest opportunity for success.
