Do certain kinds of people have an easier time finding a job than others? If you tend to have anger or jealousy issues, you might want to learn some meditation techniques to help you relax. You could even consider speaking with a therapist.

You'll also need to have good communication skills in order to ace a job interview, and in order to succeed in almost any job. After all, whether you're a doctor, a plumber or a financial planner, you need to be able to explain to your customers what steps you're going to take; you need to speak with colleagues at conferences and just be able to chat with someone you work with at lunch. If you're a shy person, practice expressing your thoughts in clear and succinct ways. Get a friend or family member to converse with you and give you tips for expressing yourself more clearly. And always speak up!
