The sooner the money is raised, the sooner construction can start on a $50 million facility that will likely be open in 2011. This means that the positions being created with the help of eb5 investors will likely be high-paying, high-tech jobs.

Considering that the eb5 visa requires investors to help create at least ten jobs with the money, this project definitely qualifies. The positive thing is that, typically, more high-paying jobs in the area can attract more people, which means that not only will some residents get jobs, but nearby businesses can also benefit. Regions with several large facilities with hundreds of workers need other amenities nearby, such as places to eat, shop, and get fuel. Thus, projects like this one through the eb5 visa program may help stimulate the entire local economy.

This is just one recent example of an eb5 visa program helping more than just the immigrant who is investing. For this reason, many struggling areas wish to attract investors to their region of the country. This is great news for those interested in the eb5 visa program.
