Here's a great tip to answer these questions - anyone can locate investors by driving around, locating For Rent signs, and calling the phone numbers. Rental houses are usually owned by individual investors, and they may or may not have management companies actually renting the houses for them. You'll discover everything you need to know by giving them a call. Start with phone numbers on the signs and it will lead to you the property owners eventually. These property owners may be interested in owning another house in the same area, too.

And, you can research names and addresses of all the homeowners in your neighborhood, online or in person at the county offices, in order to find "absentee owners." Those are property owners who don't live in the houses they own, and may own more than one house in the same neighborhood. You can collect their contact information and call them when you want to sell a house quick. This list can be a valuable asset to you.

The fact is, you have to get pretty resourceful when you want to sell a house quick. You have to think ahead and use creative methods to find buyers who might be interested in your home.
