Wearing the right silhouette that fits her body type, a bride can not only minimize and reduce the unfavorable futures of her body, and will also draw much attention to her best features. If you are a complete freshmen at finding a suitable wedding dress, choose a perfect wedding gown could be a difficult and time-consuming job. But if you already make yourself familiar with the four silhouettes of bridal gowns and you have ideas about how these silhouettes flatter different body shapes, it'll no longer a heavy job for you.

First Silhouette is A-LINE. Silhouette A-LINE can look good with many different designs elements such as sashes, belts, and bands, etc. The A-Line or Princess cut gowns just as the name, have an A-shape. A line gowns are created by vertical seams running from the shoulders to a flared skirt. Therefore, they looked narrow-at-the-top, and wider at the bottom shape. The A-Line style is designed to elongate the lines of the bride's body, by create the illusion of length. This style has no specifically designed waistline.

Then is Silhouette EMPIRE WAIST:The empire waist wedding dresses are especially flattering to brides who have tummy issues. This kind of cut has a seam that starts just under the bustline that falls into a sheath, and the dress actually begins just above the natural waistline.

Third Silhouette BALL GOWN: Ball gown is considered to be a traditional and classic weddign dress, it has a form-fitting bodice with a full skirt. In a ball gown, a bride just looks like a "Cinderella" . There are still four kinds of ball gown: asymmetrical waist ball gown, dropped waist ball gown, natural waist ball gown, and basque waist ball gown. Asymmetrical waist ball gown features a a waistline that goes more at a diagonal at the waist from one side of the dress to the other side. Dropped waist ball gown starts a few inches below the belly button. This style elongates the look of the torso and is very popular right now, with many choices of length of the drop of the waist itself. Natural waist ball gown has it's waistline at the "natural waist - usually about half way between the ribcage and the at the narrowest part. Basque waist ball gown features a fitted bodice with an elongated V-shape beneath and at the front and center of the waistline. This style minimizes the width of the dress at the waist.

Silhouette SHEATH CUT: The sheath cut follows the conture of the body. Since the dress is so form fitting it will have a slit in the front, side or back to make easier to walk. Trumpet style cuts are sheaths that are flared at the bottom so they don't need a slit to walk.

One of the Body shape is PEAR SHAPPED - As it calls, pear shapped as a small bustline, average waist, larger hips. The style of dress actually is less important than the neckline. Therefore, you need to choose a gown which emphasizes the top and cuts emphasis on the bottom. Avoid a Sheath style because it will be more unflattering, but remember the neckline is most important so avoid a V-neck which draws the eyes and focus down. Choosing a gown with an off-the-shoulder neckline or cap sleeves will flatter your shoulders and chest while drawing focus away from your hips.

Second body shape FULL FIGURE - Choosing a style with a ruched or wrapped waist will look fine, and a ball gown is full and will hide many unfavorable body feautres. A princess can also elongates the body line, so you may look a little bit slimmer. Avoid a sheath cut which will make you look stronger and fatter.

Body shape LONG WAIST - Best would be a Basque waist ball gown which will give you the appearance of a shorter waistline. Avoid a princess cut because it will make your waist look even longer than it is.

Forth body shape HOUR GLASS FIGURE - Small waist with biger hips and a large bust. Never select an Empire waist which will hide your figure and look disproportional. Your best choice is the Princess cut with a scoop-neck or v-neck.

It's you wedding day and your big day, so no one will spend more effort on choosing the perfect wedding dress. So you should take the resposibilty for yourself, to find out the best silhouette fits your body, and to try different style and compare the different vision effect. You can ask advices from your wedding dress assistant, but never rely on his or her opinion. Remember it's your day!
