I am a big fan of Sydney Sheldon and there was this one novel of his that I had not read. I looked for the book in book stores but still couldnt get my hands on the novel. The novel, Windmills of the Gods, which I was looking for, was one of Sheldons masterpieces as well as a bestseller.
My friends had suggested that I try downloading the novel from the Internet in PDF format, but since I prefer to read a book in its paper form (hard copy), I was not really keen. In addition to that, I had never downloaded any novel or book from the Internet. I even tried looking for the book on online stores like amazon, walmart etc. but all efforts were futile. With little or no options left on me, I finally decided to get an e-book and get a print out of the entire book! I sat in front of my computer and browsed through numerous websites from where I could possible download the PDF format of the novel.
After a long search, I managed to get a copy and downloaded the same to my PC. It took just a couple of minutes to download and I felt I should have a quick look at the book before getting it printed. I clicked on the option to open the novel but I was unable to open the file in Adobe Reader. I tried to open the file over and again, but it failed every time. I had no clue what had gone wrong, so I decided to look for a possible solution over the Internet. As I was going through some tech support websites, I happened to come across reviews written by users and customers, sharing their experiences. The one website which particularly caught my attention was iYogi. I went through the
iYogi reviews and feedbacks written by various people from all walks of life. The company turned out to be some kind of an online tech support company, and their customer reviews and testimonials were quite impressive.
I decided to check it out the company by myself and browsed through
iYogis website all over again, this time probing even further, checking out the services they offered including their service charges. I was quite convinced that it suited my needs and fitted my budget. I saw a chat now option available on their website to get myself started. I clicked on it and at that very instance; a window popped-up asking me for my contact details. After I filled them, I was connected to a technician who asked me what problem I was facing with my PC. After I had explained the problem to him, he inquired about the make as well as the model number of my PC. He then took a remote session, only after I allowed him, and soon, in a matter of minutes, he fixed the problem on my computer. When I tried opening the file, it opened without any hassle this time. I thanked him and closed the chat window.
