Fifteen Minutes A Day, Pedals The Back Pain Away!

By:

I have had a chronic back issue due to probably a number of motor vehicles accidents, childbirth, sitting all day at a computer, and gradual weight gain in the middle section over the years. I finally decided to do something about it. I had read that exercise can strengthen the back muscles and that weak back muscles is the major problem with most chronic back problems, however long days of commute, work and home left little time to get to the gym, let alone have the energy to do so. I knew that when I did work out, after I got out, I felt a lot better, and slept better and had more energy the next day, and overall felt better about myself because I did it. Still, motivating myself after work to get to the gym was still difficult. I never had time in the morning to go, before work, and after working all day, who does what to go the gym? I decided to get some gym equipment for the house so I could a little exercise before going into work, but with limited storage space, I had to consider what was the most important to me. After researching the various options, I decided with my goal to get rid of the back pain, I needed something that would let me exercise comfortably, burn some calories, and get rid of the excess weight that I felt was contributing to the back pain. Strength training your back muscles will also add muscle mass to your upper body, which can help make your waist look smaller. I decided I would feel more like cycling in the morning more than probably any other type of exercise and so I checked out stationary bikes. Most of the information stated that a recumbent bike situates the rider against a backrest, with legs out in front, and that is more comfortable for most peope. A recumbent bike is the type that has bucket seat or chair-like. I finally chose the compact Schwinn 230 recumbent exercise bike and with the machine I began to pedal the pounds away from the comfort of my own home. The compact design of this exercise bike also allows me to easily store it in just about any room of my house. And unlike other exercise bikes I looked at the Schwinn 230 places a priority on comfort. It comes with an anatomically designed seat that offers dual-position lumbar support and easy adjusting for people of all sizes.
Here are a few more ways I found the Schwinn 230 is better than the competition:
16 resistance level accommodates people of all fitness levels
Mix your workouts up with 10 profile courses
Meet your specific needs with 6 programs (calorie goal, BMI measurement, quick start, results mode, recovery test, and manual)
Track your progress with detailed statistics

Ride in comfort with wide seat and wide pedals
Store the exercise bike away with easy transport wheels
I found that getting in shape is a lot easier now. I enjoy my “ride” in the morning. It wakes me up, and increases my endorphins and I have that feel better lift that lasts all day. If you have the problem of last of time and maybe money to go to the gym, can’t get motivated and you like cycling I recommend checking out the Schwinn 230 today and get going and watch the pounds melt away!
Exercise Cycling is the optimum form of stamina training. It improves heart function and circulation as well as strengthening the muscles of the legs.
