From December 27th 2010 until January 4th 2011, Barcelona will witness the 48th year of the Festival de la Infancia, equal part a celebration of youth and a zestful promotion as host of life-enriching ideas for you and your children.

The Festival this year is being held in the superb surroundings of the Montjuic Exhibition Centre in Barcelona. This is a festival that celebrates children by offering a dizzying array of different activities, all linked by their children-related themes and subjects, for you to participate in, peruse or partake of.

This unique event offers the opportunity to amuse all kids of all ages and backgrounds, at all levels of educational and social understanding. There are many interactive elements to the Festival, geared to generate creative and educational inspiration for parents and children alike. There are also special sections catering to child nutrition, with vendors exhibiting children's food and beverages, baby food and feeding equipment, not to mention food supplements and nutritional guidance.

More energetic children are not neglected, with a burst of sporting activities happening across the site: from basketball, to taekwondo, cycling to motor-carting and inline skating. There will be exhibitors from a whole range of other children-related industries, including financial, sports, arts and crafts, whilst not forgetting those parents striving for a better life/work balance, with work from home opportunities being explored.
