Feeding The Soul Before Feeding Yourself: Understand The Hidden Meaning Of The Spiritual Self

By:

We have always questioned our origins; those with a more scientific disposition have suggested that we are a part of the evolution on earth, whereas spiritualists say that we are a part of the bigger picture that the One has painted. Throughout history, as generations progressed, whenever there was a lack of direction in social life, there originated some people who preached the love of spirituality. This helped bring the masses back to a sense of direction again. And truly, without their timely intervention, we would not have progressed the way we have today. Meta-physicists have suggested something what could be called a heady cocktail of realism with scientific proof and spirituality and that seems to have perhaps solved some perennial questions as of now.

The best spiritual leaders of the world were actually those who were the most learned amongst us; not necessarily in an academic way but in a way that helped us become better people and live as a society for ages to follow. Their words still today resonates in cultures, religions and lives across the globe. Be it the voice of the Great Buddha from India, Confucius from China or even Jesus; one thing that is common to all of them is that they were teachers, spiritual leaders and preachers those who understood the real value of the human form of existence and thus mitigated the message of love, harmony and happiness throughout the world.
Words from the Most Loved Scriptures of the World

The Hindus have one of the greatest spiritual texts of the world; a part of the greatest epic to have ever been told (The Mahabharata) The Gita. For most of us, who have an open spiritual outlook, this has been a revelation of sorts. One of the most loved modern texts on finding happiness, leadership and vision is Ayan Rands The Fountainhead. In the words of the Gita, we should do our work as we are supposed to do without expecting results. If the intent is good and without malice, results shall eventually follow, however late they maybe. These words are something that have a deeper meaning; we are disillusioned today in search of more material wealth and even more luxury but we forget our ultimate aim in life, which is to champion the cause of humanity, to help the needy and eventually to become a part of the earth from which we originated!

The Importance of Impersonal Gratification

World over, spiritualists and texts included preach the same message that true happiness and contentment lies in helping others. And truly so, the worlds biggest philanthropists couldnt agree more! Perhaps they have understood something that we have failed to decipher and therefore they have decided to give away their personal wealth. Self gratification is resultant of a process that seeks to make us live in harmony and help those whom god has not enabled to help themselves. By doing a service to mankind is the ultimate form of self gratification that one can achieve!
