Fat Flush Plan

By:

Plan at a Glance

No white flour, white sugar, margarine, vegetable shortening, artificial sweeteners, or caffeine; other than that it is a doable diet!

Plan in Focus

There are three phases in the diet that graduate from 1100 calories to 1500 calories in the final maintenance phase. An exercise program graduates from 20 minutes to 40 minutes a day in the final phase, it is expected you maintain the weight with 40-minute workouts every day. Strength training and low-impact aerobic exercise, like walking, are combined to improve the results of the efforts.

Phase 1 lasts two weeks with the intention being to lose the bloat. It is a restricted diet that will promote water loss as well as some fat loss. Phase 2 allows in more calories, up to 1500 a day, and is intended to be followed until the goal weight is achieved. Phase 3 is the maintenance stage where a few simple carbohydrates are allowed back into the diet; however, the calorie limit is still 1500 calories a day.

Positives

The exercise portion of the diet meets the acceptable daily requirement for healthy exercise.

Negatives

The low calorie level of the diet is not adequate for a mans metabolism and even be too low for some womens metabolism.

The severity of the change in eating habits may require the use of weight loss supplements while the body adjusts to a new way of eating and reduced food portions.

The metabolism may actually slow down during the early phases of the diet and may require additional supplements to keep the metabolism functioning normally.

Final Thoughts

The Fat Flush Plan is a restrictive one that should probably only be considered by individuals who have large amounts of weight to take off. We would caution that you support the diet with an appetite suppressant, as it may be quite difficult to adjust to not having some of the foods you are accustomed to eating. Caution is also recommended with the exercise, indeed it is necessary, but the amount of food you are eating during the early days of the diet may not be enough to fuel you with the required energy. Again, you may consider supplementing with some herbal ingredients that can improve energy levels as well as boost the metabolism.
