Pack away those tiny studs and little loops, earrings this year are all about the dangle. Big bold and dangley are all the rage.

The butterfly looks to be the motif of choice for this year's fashion. Foral-inspired pieces will be prominent.

Jewellery made from environmentally-friendly materials, and fair trade accessories are set to take 2009 by storm. We expect to see a lot of handcrafted jewellery as well as the industry moves away from mass-produced jewellery.
