3. Don't plant any trees at first. They take too long to grow fruits and they cost a lot. The first tree, which is the Cherry one, costs 225 coins and it takes two days to grow fruit. So stay away from trees until you've got more coins. I've learned this from the Farmville game guide I use.

4. Don't waste your Farmville Cash at the beginning. Keep it for when you reach a much higher level when you will be able to buy better decorations. Just use what you have and when you want something better, see if you can send it as a gift. If you are able to, then send it as people will send you a similar gift back as a thank you.

5. Don't leave your chickens and cows all around the farm. They will take up space you could use for something else and they take too long to harvest. To make things more efficient, use a Chicken Coop and Dairy Farms.
