Farewell World Of Warcraft

Farewell World Of Warcraft

By:

About a month ago I imagined that I would try World of Warcraft (WoW) a gigantic virtual online games with over 10 million users. And I was hooked. The phenomenon known as MMORPGs , or Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game , and there are several to choose from, such as Warhammer , Guild Wars , Age of Conan , etc, but World of Warcraft gold is the greatest of them all.

The game is set in a fictional medieval / renaissance world. According to the classical fantasy-style, you can choose to play human, dwarf, elf, troll, orcs, and a variety of professions such as warriors, wizards, hunters, etc. But where the similarities with Tolkien, for in WOW, there are a number of technical gimmicks, such as zeppelins, bombs, muskets - and above all humor, as lord of the rings are mostly exempt from.

In the game, it will move between different regions of a huge online world called Azeroth , your character acquires different tasks that are solved on its own or in groups with other players. It can be classic cave adventures, raids, or more concrete tasks such as eg hunting krokolisker for skin's sake, and then get paid for the inconvenience. With money you can get better equipment, learning new skills, etc.

My character's name was Kudz and was gnome , a kind of dwarfs specialized in handicrafts and various forms of remarkable engineering. In the game I made everything from jttemuskten you see in the image of exploding mines through out the (!). Just gnomes offers a lot of humor and bizarre experiences. Their city of Gnomeregan is deeply blasted into Dun Moroghs mountain ranges, and is occupied by throgger, angry trolliknande creatures that ravage and destroy the Gnomes ingenious inventions.

In the game you can join different guilds, learn all kinds of skills such as fishing, forging, cooking, leather preparation, etc, etc. You can travel between different areas by means of flying griffins and boats. Game makers often manage to create vertiginous environments, these range from frosty winter landscape, barren deserts, enchanted forests, honor, swamps, etc.

A tour of Azeroth will take several hours, the online world is huge and offers many surprises. In the picture above you see my figure outside Gnomeregan. The green smoke in the background derived (presumably) from radioactive leaks, as a result of throggernas attacks. We also glimpsed some great gear for mountain peaks, where the gates are to Gnome lost city.

Despite the great graphics and all the possibilities, it is as usual to kill monsters and find magical weapons and armor, and gather experience points . You start with zero and climbing up to 80, and then you have achieved hero status and wasted very many hours at the computer. I got to 35 before I got bored.

Although the game is hugely addictive (yes, it has become very short blog posts in the last month) so it has its limitations. Finally starting assignments to repeat itself, and despite the fact that landscapes are magnificent and beautiful inhabited the more often the boring giant spiders and dinosaurs. Everything repeats itself again and again, with the difference that the resistance becomes larger as the scores and skills increase.

MMORPG games have become a giant industry, there are millions of people in front of your computer every day and struggle with all sorts of mission and adventure in remote world of fantasy. Bookmakers may charge for the games, and usually a monthly fee. Sequels and expansions being launched at regular intervals. There will be some money.

This type out ever game probably replace TV viewing, they offer entertainment, escapism, community, and especially interactivity as opposed to TV You decide where you go, what adventures you want to attend, although most of it is quite so driven by your existing experience points.

I firmly believe that this is the future of evening entertainment. Until now, gaming companies most focused on the purely technical, to its clever 3-D graphics to create stunning environments. If they take one step further and invest in good script, more adventure, and tone down the repetativa elements as this will attract even more people. Romancing the score is basically meaningless, because that is the experience you want to, and there is always one roof - what happens when the figure reached 70-80 points? And they've explored the world? New sequels,World of Warcraft gold new versions, for all eternity?

Succeed Blizzard (as game development company called) to solve these problems then finally the TV had a worthy contender. Personally, I try to avoid both TV and other time-consuming distractions, yesterday I uninstalled WoW, and it felt like a liberation. Back to reality ...
