Famous Celebrities & Their Celebrated Classics

By:

What do you get when you mix a British rugby player with two British pop stars and an Australian Formula 1 racing car driver? An assortment of car enthusiasts. The Mail Online has asked Lewis Moody, Will Young, Craig David and Mark Webber what their dream cars would be, and the outcome is the perfect blend of luxury and speed - showing that these Celebs like to live life in the fast lane.

Being inspired by James Bond, its no surprise Lewis Moodys fantasy car is the Aston Martin DB9 Volante. Lewis claims that the Aston Martin is understated in the way British people are: seemingly cold and reserved on the outside, but with real character, fight and yes, passion on the inside. With a 6.0 litre engine, power that reaches 477hp and speeds of 190mph you can see that this classic motor is ideal for a secret agent like James Bond, and wannabe secret agent like Lewis Moody.

The Bristol 603 Brigand is pop singer Will Youngs top choice, and he says that this classic car is my idea of perfection. With his grandfathers influence of 120s and 140s Jags and an Alfa Romeo Spider, its no surprise Will went on to be influenced by the 80s styling of the Brigand. Modern cars dont really appeal to this celeb who believes that modern cars can feel a bit sterile, but old cars are more individual and romantic. With a hectic pop star life style its a great choice, and with it being a three-speed automatic you can sit back, relax and take a break from busy work schedules.

Ever wanted to feel like Lewis Hamilton? Well Craig David has, which is why he has chosen the Lamborghini LP560-4 Spyder. Being angry and fast yet comfortable and easy to drive, you can see how people become incredibly confident when driving this spectacular super car, which is where the danger is - unless youre a Formula 1 champion of course. With the practicality of an Audi but with a much higher price tag, Craig points out that when you have a car like this, you dont want to get a single mark on it.

Id take a Porsche over a Ferrari any time were the words of Mark Webber, reported by the Mail Online. So its no surprise to see that the Porsche 911 Turbo comes in at first place on Marks list, even though its a selfish car really, simple inside, but is also practical in many ways and brilliantly engineered. Formula 1 drivers are renowned for being obsessed with two things: power and brakes now it is pretty obvious the Porsche has the power, so lets just hope it has the brakes too.
