Are you in need of some help planning a terrific Fourth of July weekend for your family? Well, there are plenty of awesome activities for you and your family to do together you just have to get thinking! I've compiled a list of some of the best possible things to do with your family on this excellent holiday weekend.

.) Watch some fireworks! Nearly every town has its own firework show at some point over the Fourth of July weekend, and they are usually free to watch! Get a blanket, some bug spray, snacks, and the whole gang ready and take them all to see some fireworks. If its legal you could even purchase some fireworks and put on your own personal firework show. Just be sure you check your state and local regulations before you do so and BE CAREFUL!

.) If the weather isn't being cooperative, go with the flow! A movie marathon can be just as fun as any outdoor activity if you and the family end up stuck inside for the whole weekend gather up one of everybody's favorite flicks and watch them all! Another option could be to watch an entire series in order, such as Harry Potter or The Mighty Ducks!

.) Go out to the ballpark and appreciate America's past time! There is literally nothing more American than bringing your family to a baseball game on the Fourth of July weekend. Look up local times for your favorite MLB squad or find out when a Minor League team is having a game. Buy the kids some peanuts and Cracker Jacks and enjoy some hot dogs at the game! America created the fine sport of baseball so its only appropriate to view a game on the celebration of America's birthday as a nation.

.) Fire up the grill and gather up the whole gang for some good eating! A family cookout is a delicious way to have a family activity. For this you're going to want some ribs, burgers, hot dogs, chicken and whatever else you like to throw on the grill. Perfect side dishes are simple to make as well such as pasta salad, potato salad, and corn on the cob! While you grill up the dinner, set up the kids with a wiffle ball set and let them enjoy some outdoor fun as well!

.) Pack up the car and head to your nearest beach! There is literally no better time to head down to the shore than in the heat of July. The beach offers the obvious fun of the ocean, however you would be surprised at how much more there is to do as well. You could learn to surf or maybe have a campfire on the beach! Riding bikes could be a great idea as well. Its a fun a way to get around whatever beach town you're in, and you won't have to deal with parking fees or just the hassle of finding a spot in general. The beach is one of the most relaxing places you can possible go, so take advantage of this holiday weekend's superb timing and have a mini-vacation with the whole family.
