The new C250 option is an example of Mercedes ability to balance power and fuel efficiency. The four-cylinder engine in the C250 option sprints from zero to 60 miles per hour in a mere 7.1 second. This model boasts a high fuel economy averaging 21 miles per gallon in the city and 30 miles per gallon on the highway. Mercedes is introducing the C250 option as the base model for 2012 and its high fuel-efficiency rates illustrate Mercedes commitment to environmentally friendly vehicles.

The models are all available with the option for a sports suspension, which lowers the car and increases spring rates and a Dynamic Handling package that adds adjustable dampers, which stiffen when the driver pushes a button. Mercedes also plans to introduce five new electronic driving safety aids including the Adaptive High-beam Assist, Attention Assist, Parktronic, Lane Assist, and Blind Spot Assist.
