Factors When Buying A Solar Lantern

What solar lantern should I purchase is the usual question after consumers have searched all the solar power lanterns and solar flashlights online. Then they figure out they need help or just some ways of determining or hearing another persons opinion. From personally owning my own solar lantern, I can tell you what I think and what factors I used. In this article, I will explain to you what factors you can use and the solar product I had purchased.

The first factor I use in choosing a solar or any product is quality. I have been through too many experiences to realize that sometimes the price can be right, but the quality is too poor. I will usually check with the website professionalism and appeal to see if they are serious about their company and products.

Then I will take the product name and do a quick review of the product to see if others have had some experience and what they thought.
The third factor I will check into is the actually power of the light, that way I have narrowed down which are ones are quality and have reviews. Some lanterns have low power lighting and also they might take all day to charge. I cant take that can of solar power lanterns, I need something with a long lasting operation time and quick charge times.

The last factor which I rarely do is ask my facebook friends, I mean most of them are not doing the research like I have, so it is actually the worse resource to go to unless they own a solar lantern. I could go on to what they think, but to be honest most of the people I know are only hearing what the next hot item is not actually that smart expect about 1-3 of them and they think I should research if they have no experience, yes a real honest answer, not some opinion based on their ego.

Another factor I determine is the price. The solar powered lantern I purchased was 59.99 and charges within 2 hours and last up to 8 hours. To me that is a huge savings, I usually burn through my batteries each time I go camping. So being able to power it up and use it all night and know I can use it again without the worrisome feeling of saving battery life is eliminated.
