Facebook has introduced a new aspect of the ads manager called the Creative Library and this is really going to help those of you who are juggling numerous campaigns. Just to clarify- an ad creative differs from a typical ad in that it doesnt include targeting, bids, or additional campaign settings. Ad creatives simply include the URL for the landing page, body, title, and image.

The Creative Library is a collection of all your ad creatives in one place. You can search through all your creatives and view them across campaigns for different accounts. In addition, from the library you can:

? see a preview of how the ad would appear on a profile page

? create new ads using your creatives

? design a creative before assigning to to an ad or campaign

This new service can be used by anyone but will be especially helpful to those who are looking for an easy way to make use of their creatives over and over again or those who maintain multiple campaigns or have a great number of creatives.

How do I create a new creative?


Visit the Creative Library page.
Click on the New Creative button at the top right corner of the Creative Library page. This will take you to the Add New Creative page.
Click the Select Creative button in the top right hand corner of the page.
From here, choose your Ad or Sponsored Story type and click Submit
Make any desired changes to the creative fields.
Name your creative for quick reference in the future.
Click the Create New Creative button at the bottom of the page.
How do I edit existing creatives and store them in the Creative Library?

Visit the Add New Creative page.
Click the Select Creative button in the top right hand corner of the page.
Select your desired creative or click switch account to choose from creatives within other accounts you have access to.
Once your creative is selected, click Submit.
Make any desired changes to your selected creative.
Enter your desired creative name.
Click Create New Creative.
