Fabrics are the materials which are made through weaving, knitting, spreading, crocheting, or bonding that may be used in production of further goods like garments etc. Fabrics, textile and cloth are the words which are used by a common man in one context but they differ in their production and formation. Textile is a material made up of interlacing fibres and cloth is a finished piece of fabric which is used for specific purposes.
Textiles are made from many materials which have four major sources: animal, plant, mineral and synthetic. During 20th century artificial fibres came into existence, which are made from petroleum.

Textile is made in a wide range of durability and strengths.

1. ANIMAL TEXTILES

Hair and fur of animals is mostly used in the formation of animal textiles. Wool, worsted, cashmere , mohair, alpaca wool, vicua wool, llama wool, camel hair, silk etc. are some examples of animal textiles.

2. PLANT TEXTILES

Entire plant and sometimes only the plant fibres are used in the production of plant fibres. Grass, rush, hemp, sisal, Straw and bamboo, Cotton, flax, jute, hemp, modal etc. are used in the formation of plant fibres from which textiles are made.

3. MINERAL TEXTILES

Asbestos, basalt fibre, Glass fibre are some of the products which are made from minerals and which are used in the production of textiles.

4. SYNTHETIC TEXTILES

Polyester, aramid fibre, acrylic fibre , nylon fibre etc. are used in the production of synthetic textiles.

STYLISH CLOTHES

Different types of textiles are used in the formation of different types of clothes. We always say that human being have three basic needs which will remain forever food, house and cloth. Cloth is our basic need without which we cannot survive in this society.
