Extreme Fat Loss Diet-three Steps For A Healthier You

By:

Can I be brutally honest with you? Do you feel as though your weight is preventing you from enjoying life? Do you relate to any of these...
You constantly feel worn out
You fear going to a new restaurant because you're not sure you'll fit into the booth
You avoid social gatherings because you don't want to be stared at
You're wiped out just doing day-to-day activities
You don't like what you see in the mirror
You don't travel because you can't fit in the airplane seat
You've tried over and over to lose weight

These were the things that I jotted in a journal when I weighed 329 pounds. I was tired of fooling myself in thinking that I was okay with my obesity and that it didn't prevent me from achieving whatever I wanted to do.

Then I made a list of how life would be different if I could lose over a hundred pounds. I would be able to...
fly in a hot air balloon
go canoeing or kayaking
be around to enjoy my grandchildren
know that I could get off of the floor/ground if I fell
wear trendy clothes and not be limited to the plus size shops
feel "normal"

If you can relate to this, I'm sure it's a tough blow reading this. However, I want to give you hope. You can make healthy changes that are lifelong changes. In my search for a healthier lifestyle, I devised three steps. I have lost close to a hundred pounds and hope to be at my ideal weight in two months. I feel the best that I've felt in years and want others to have the same experience. Are you in?

Step #1. Set small goals.
Purchase a journal/notebook and write down one nutritious goal and one exercise goal that you believe you can follow for two weeks. For example, my first two goals were: limit myself to one cola a day and tread water for twenty minutes three times a week. That was it. Each day, keep track of how you're doing. I'm easily motivated by money, so I started a "Healthy Lifestyle Jar". Each day that I was successful with my goals, I put a dollar in the jar. Eventually the money will be used to pay for a hot air balloon ride! Every two weeks, create two new goals.

Step #2. Partner up for accountability.
I never was one to join a weight loss group. However, I do find huge value in partnering with someone for accountability. My friend Shelley and I meet once a week in the park for lunch. We each bring our journal with us and discuss our goals. If one of us is struggling, then the other provides encouragement and calls daily until we're experiencing success again.

Step #3. Mix it up.
In many areas of my life I'm a routine person. In regards to weight loss though, I'm finding that if I mix things up, I have better success. I have a second jar that has folded papers in it. Written on each paper is some type of "reward" that can be used once during the week. Every Monday I pull out a slip. Examples are: enjoy a sweet, sleep in today, or go out to dinner. By implementing rewards, I no longer resent making healthy changes.

From someone who is still on the weight loss journey, you can do it!!!
