External Hemorrhoid Treatment What is External Hemorrhoids?

What is an external hemorrhoid?

External hemorrhoids are inflamed, irritated vein located on the outside of the anal opening. The location is what determines whether the hemorrhoid is external or internal. There are several factors that lead to causes of external hemorrhoids.

Constipation is the most common factor that causes external hemorrhoids. If you are constipated and you are straining hard to move the stool, you will not be able to cleanse the waste out through your bowels, then that adds a lot of pressure to your veins, which leads to hemorrhoids.

Poor blood circulation is another cause. If your blood is not circulating properly, you are not circulating the waste out of your system. Then, it leads to developing a hole in the inner side of your veins. Basically, it builds up and causes your veins to get inflamed. If your blood is not circulating properly, you are not getting the nutrition and the oxygen to your body like you need to be. Then, your veins get weakened. Weakened veins can also be hereditary. Weakened veins and external hemorrhoids are very much associated with each other.

Inflammation is also a factor in external hemorrhoids that needs to be addressed, along with lack of nutrition. If your body is not receiving the proper amount of nutrition, how can you expect it to heal itself?

How do you treat external hemorrhoids?

There is a common misconception out there that external hemorrhoids have to be treated externally using an ointment or cream. In contrary, it should be treated internally so that you attack the root of the problem. Get to the root of the problem inside of the body where your blood is not circulating properly and the veins are weak. These problems, including the lack of nutrition, should be treated internally. Once the inside is healed, the external hemorrhoids will be healed too. When people choose external remedies like crams and ointments, they are just hiding the symptoms by numbing the pain. This is a very short-term type of treatment. It will not provide relief over the long term.

To choosing external hemorrhoids treatment, you need one that gives relief. I suggest an ingredient called witch hazel. It is a natural herb that is a soothing anti-inflammatory. Find also a treatment that strengthens the veins. There are two herbs that I would suggest: stone root and white oak bark. Stone root is relatively new and can strengthen the veins effectively. White oak bark has the same effect as tone root while soothing the affected area.

Find a treatment that boost the circulatory system and increase blood circulation. Butchers broom and cayenne are two important herbs for this purpose. These are potent and wonderful for your circulatory system. Find a remedy that cleanses the blood and bowels. Ginger and cayenne are two herbs that can cleanse the blood and bowels.

Find a natural remedy that combines these herbs mentioned above. It will surely heal external hemorrhoids from the inside and eliminate the pain and discomfort.
