If you are happy or content, then please stop reading this right now! This is only for people that want to be in the top 3%.

I am going to show you that a well planned, organized, and strategically executed internet marketing campaign does not have to cost you your life savings. If you rotate your campaign through very highly targeted audience, directories, and forums you will be provided with outstanding results.

If you are ready to see how you can explode your business, follow these simple but crucial steps I am providing you. Following each one of these will you to obtain an internet marketing campaign that you can initiate immediately and begin exploding your business.

Decide Who Your Customer is

Deciding who is your customer is just as important as knowing your product and services you offer. Below are a series of questions you need to honestly ask and answer for yourself. If you had a perfect customer that you had and would enjoy taking care of, what would they be like?

What is the age group I am targeting?
Is my perfect customer male or female?
Do I prefer them to work from home or not?
What education level do I prefer?
What level of income should they be at?
What type of disposable income do they have for my product or service? Do I need them to make a one time purchase, or a monthly purchase for years to come?
Will my perfect customer use my product or service for themselves, or do they buy as a gift?
Do I prefer my customer to be internet savvy?

Once you have gone through these questions, and remember HONESTLY, you now will have a better idea on where to shout your product or service. I would strongly suggest having all these questions and answers within eye sight every time you are working on your business as a reminder.

Promoting Your Business

Have you thought about where you are going to promote your business? This is step two of your internet marketing campaign. Promoting your business on many different sites that are highly frequented is obviously the smartest move you could make. If your potential customers see you in many different websites, this not only strengthens you as an individual but also strengthens you message. Whatever your business may be, look for sites that cater to that lifestyle or client base.

Whenever you are considering a new site to promote your business, you need to take into consideration a few things. You need to consider the amount of traffic a site obtains on a monthly basis, where is the site placed on the search engines, the amount of outbound and inbound links, the quality of the content and what other marketers are already there. If there are many other advertisers on this site, what are they advertising and how relevant is their product or service to the site?

Pay Per Click- Pay Per Click has changed somewhat over the years. While the actual rules have not changed many sites are just really enforcing their current rules. Pay per Click is a great way to advertise your business but I would strongly suggest starting out small until you learn the ropes. Make sure that you set daily limits, like around $25-30, so you can tweak your campaign based on click through rates and keywords.

What are you wanting to convert? As with any internet marketing campaign you want to know what your conversion is. Also you need to figure out what you are going to measure. Is it orders, subscribers, people that download your free how to video or secret formula? Your conversion rate is actually quite simple to figure as you will see in the following example.

Let's say your site has 1000 visitors a day, with 28 clicks, and 2 sales per day. This would mean your conversion rate is 2:28 or 14%- and if that is the case, you are obtaining a sale every 14 clicks.
You definitely want to keep a close eye on your ads and your conversion rates so you can figure out what is working and what is not. If you are getting no sales or a really low conversion rate then change it up a bit. Just think of the marketing over the years, what worked 5-10 years ago may not work today.

This is part one of two........Look for part two coming out soon!
