Exhibitions And The Importance Of Av Presentations

One of the most essential and effective ways to get new business for many companies is to attend exhibitions and trade shows. Exhibitions and trade shows are usually held in expansive exhibition event halls where a large number of different companies will have various displays, all advertising their own products and services. In this environment, there will often be a number of competing companies positioned near one another, perhaps offering similar things. If your business is in this position, then you need an additional boost to your display to help it outshine the numerous other companies that are all trying to do the same thing.

There are a variety of ways you can make your display attract attention and become more eye-catching. Most people rely on their display to do the work of attracting attention to their stand space without considering alternatives or additional elements that may prove helpful in this respect. For example, trade show accessories such as literature displays, display counters, PC workstations and similar items can help to expand your exhibition. However, there is one area of display that is often neglected. An audio/visual display can be a great way to attract attention and get across a lot of information in an attractive video.

AV presentations can be put together professionally or alternatively, by simply using a commercial video presentation program. These programs are relatively inexpensive, readily available, and easy to use. They can include sound, video, photos or an amalgam of the three. When your video is ready, there are various ways that you can present this to visitors at an exhibition.

The most obvious way would be an LCD monitor attached to a DVD player or computer. There are a number of accessories and display stands designed to hold an LCD monitor for exhibitions and trade shows. One of these could be an attachment for a pop up stand. Most small to medium spaces will feature a pop up display of some sort. Pop up displays are versatile and can be fitted with accessories including LCD mounts that will hold a small screen with which you can play your video. The drawback of this is that your screen can only be a certain width. If you need to go larger, a freestanding LCD stand is needed.

Freestanding LCD stands really attract attention. They can take screen sizes of 22", 32" and 42", giving you a choice of small, medium and large displays. The bigger your screen, the more attention it will get, but the more space it will occupy. If you decide to use the widest monitor, then your video will need to be as compelling as possible at getting your message across as it will garner a lot of attention.

If your audio/visual display is the primary focus of your exhibit and not just an additional display, you may want to consider using a pop up display with an integrated projector screen. The screen can be used in association with a projector, plugged in to a computer to display your video on a very large screen size.

Whichever option you choose to show your AV presentation, be confident that it will help get you noticed in the considerably competitive environment of an exhibition or trade show.
