A water damage company is likely to be the professionals that are contacted to repair your floor damage. They can also test the home for mold and moisture. If there is something that is causing excessive moisture in your home, that can also cause mold which is a hazard in itself. So just be prepared when you have squeaky floors that do a little jig when you walk across them because it could be a more serious issue that you think. It will be important that all damage is repaired when the floors are out. Mold will continue to grow unless it is killed and eliminated.
