Also, toys, which uses lesser materials and fewer chemicals are said to be environmentally-friendly. They are made up of materials like organic cotton, wood (rubber wood), cloth, bamboo and recycled materials. Environmental toys are for all kinds of ages. However, the toys for children are the most popular and in demand; considering that these young people are very prone to harmful effects of plastics. Most of the green toys are dolls, puzzles and blocks. These toys are said to be environmentally-friendly and sometimes, referred as green toys. Bamboo and wood toys are very popular in the making; they can be in the form of different shapes. Organic materials like cotton are not only environmentally-friendly, but also contain lesser harmful chemicals. Recycled toys such as those in minimal packaging and reused items are no wonder, environmentally friendly. Locally made toys are environmentally-friendly not only because of the utilization of bamboo, wood and similar materials, likewise lesser costs in transporting them. Nonetheless, a problem faced by many environmentalists nowadays is several companies have been endorsing and overrating their products as environmentally-friendly (specifically for young children) which really did not meet the standards of environmental protection.

In spite of the innovations, and expansion of science and electronics, technology is trying its best to be environmentally-friendly in any means. It hopes to achieve such "green technology" which focuses the preservation of natural resources and the restraint of product wastes. As mentioned, any is considered environmentally-friendly when it produces no or little wastes, lessens pollution effect, minimal use of resources and when materials are recycled. Green technology deals on creating new technologies and improving those existing ones. Being green influences the eco system and the people. It affects our lives and also our health. By improving our daily activities and being rational in choosing eco-friendly products reduce the terrible damaging effect of technologies.
