Black shoes do not really need a sales pitch. They sell themselves. Whether you are a man or a woman, if you are reading this chances are that you have at least one pair of in this colour and there is a huge probability that like most people you own more than one and if you are a woman you have more than a few pairs that you love in your wardrobe.
If someone were asked to explain why
black shoes are so widely loved by the most fashionable people on the planet as well as by people who have no clue of fashion and just dress to be presentable they would not know where to begin. There are many reasons that shoes in black are loved by all and they have been in fashion more or less for many decades now and have not once in this period ever really gone out of style even though their popularity may have been eclipsed for very brief periods of time by other colours. One often hears that brown is the new black or that blue is the new black but the truth is that black is black and it always has been and will always be. Even though designers often crown another colour as the colour to be seen in for a season, they always return to black because nothing can make an outfit look as timeless and classy as this one colour.
The same goes for shoes too and even though shoe styles change and the shapes and the heel heights seem to change every season, black is always a favourite colour. Also when most women go out and splurge on a great pair of designer shoes they more often than not buy a pair of in black because when they are spending many hundreds of dollars or even up to a thousand dollars on a single pair of shoes they want to be sure that they are not buying a colour that is in vogue today but in a few months will be the most unfashionable colour to be seen in.
The same goes for men as well. Men tend to dress a lot more conservatively than women anyway and even the ones that are willing to experiment a little will tend to buy shoes in black as they are so versatile and they go with most outfits and they have a quite stylishness to them.
