Often criticized for its low cost models, Dacia has managed once again to hit the carping over the nose, placing it self into the second place in a satisfaction survey of vehicle owners in Germany, carried out by the well - known research firm JD Power.Romanian local brand scored 836 points out of a thousand ( 1000 ), being on the same level with BMW. The only brand that has overcome Dacia was Mercedes-Benz, the first position on the survey.

Thus, the first brand on the satisfaction of the clients chapter was Mercedes with 838 points (out of 1000 possible), followed by BMW and Dacia, tied, with 836 points each and Mazda and Nissan (831). Fiat has signed standings with 757 points. Among brands that have received below 800 points include Chevrolet, Ford and Renault and Smart. So even if the prices of the before mentioned models are not that high and the quality is know as German-branded ( since those vehicles are manufactured in Germany ), Dacia still managed to get in front.

Market research company JD Power measured customer satisfaction levels based on four key criteria: attractiveness of the vehicle (the performance, design, comfort), quality and reliability, maintenance costs (consumption, insurance policies, costs of repair) agree repairers and service quality. So quite a lot of factors, if you would ask me. And from what I know, nor Mercedes or BMW are cheap cars when it comes about service and auto parts.

JD Power also noted a top class Logan satisfaction credit, the model being located on the second place in satisfaction among the small class (segment B), after the Nissan Note, but ahead of Toyota Yaris. Kia Picanto won the mini class, so there is nothing to be said about the Sandero model from Dacia, at this chapter. Mazda3 ranked first among the most important European compact models with a score of 85.6% in overall satisfaction of owners, ahead of Mercedes A-Class with 84.8% and Hyundai i30, which won 84%.

Class to beat the Toyota Prius and the Mercedes C Class limousines won the compact category, while BMW X5 first came to SUVs.The study was conducted during January-March 2010, based on interviews of 16,330 online customers who have owned a vehicle for about two years.Models were evaluated in 25 brands covering all car classes.Dacia came first in JD Power survey in 2009, winning 13 of 27 positions.

"The results recorded this year shows that Romanian brand had the highest growth rate compared to other manufacturers. This performance was the result of the Renault Excellence Plan in quality, whose measures were applied and industrial platform at Mioveni. From the time of its release on the German market in 2005, Dacia has sold 150,000 vehicles in Germany until the end of May 2010, according to a press release the Dacia.
