Envelope Stuffing - A Scam Or A Great Business Idea

The biggest problem with working at home is that many of business ideas you are given by the Internet are scams. There are hundreds people out there living off nave beginning businessmen. You don't have enough money for helping them buy new cars and villas - and even if you had, you would probably prefer fetching some luxurious stuff for yourself. Things they never tell you - If you hear a proposition which sounds REALLY interesting, it is probably too good to be true. For instance, if you hear that you get paid $1.50 per each envelope stuffed, this sounds great. You can easily make more than a professional graphic designer simply by stuffing envelopes. Well, there is a catch. First of course, you have to buy a starting kit - this can be quite costly (usually a few hundred dollars for stuff you can make yourself for $10). What is more, and they never tell you that until it is too late, you get paid only for those envelopes whose receivers decide to sign up. In short, you get paid only if the company gets paid. Most of the time it means that all you can hope for is getting paid for a 5-15% of your envelopes. $2 per hour does not sound too well, don't they?

Openness - Any legitimate business which wants to outsource envelope stuffing will tell you exactly who they are and what they do. While they may keep some details secret, they tell you exactly how much you may earn (exactly), and what it takes to actually do it right. If they fail to do so, and that's the case with 99% of envelope stuffing opportunities, it means that their offer is trash. Especially if you are asked to buy their starting kit in order to learn more, turn back and walk away. You are only a few steps from losing a few hundred dollars for nothing.

Ways of doing business - A legitimate company will always give you some warranty of getting paid if you do what you were asked for. No one but scammers will burden you with all the risks! I mean, what does your job really have to do with the conversion rate? You do your job and should get paid for it. Those who should be held responsible for low conversion rate are people who prepared the letters, not those who stuff them into envelopes!

To sum everything up: There is virtually no such thing as a legitimate envelope stuffing business. It's that simple. Look elsewhere, there are plenty of legitimate businesses to associate with.
