Enjoy Dark Activities At Pattaya

Pattaya nightlife is very famous throughout the world. Most often people visit Pattaya for its adult fun and entertainment. There is a wide variety of nighttime activities that continue every night until dawn. Pattaya is a place to party and enjoy life; this place has a holiday feel to it. Many people usually relax at the beaches during the daytime and party at night. After dark, the streets of south Pattaya turn into a hot nightspot and esplanade.

The most famous nightspot in Pattaya is known as the Walking Street. It is the center and hub of Pattayas nightlife. Walking Street is a totally pedestrian zone form early evening till the next morning. Vehicles are banned in this area evening onwards. This neon lit street has the densest concentration of go-go bars, beer bars, massage parlors, restaurants, discos and pubs in the city. Just a walk down this street is enough to introduce the nightlife of Pattaya city.

Go-Go Bars
Go-Go Bars are bars where girls in skimpy clothes walk around, dance and swing seductively while doing the pole dance. The entry to these bars is free and open to all. Loud music, liquor, semi-nude girls are some of the traits of a go-go bar. There are hundreds of go-go bars in Pattaya. A drink here like beer or a shot will usually be around 100 Baht or so. Super Baby, Happy-A-Go-Go, Angel Witch, Carousel, The Dollhouse, Electric Blue, Classroom-A-Go-Go, Lipstick-A-Go-Go and Tahitian Queen are a few famous ones.

Beer Bars
There are hundreds of beers bars scattered all around Pattaya city but a large number are found in Walking Street. Loud music and numerous pretty hostesses lure you into these bars and serve you drinks. One can start chilling out at these bars midday onwards. They offer you a vast variety of Thai as well other well known beers, whiskeys, cocktails and other liquor. A beer here can cost you around 50 Baht. It can be said that beer bars in Pattaya are legendary. Some bars have live jazz or fast music playing while others have a big TV and show Videos. A snooker or billiards table is also a common sight here.

Discotheques
Discotheques are a very easy to find in Pattaya. Loud music, live bands, multi-colored lights, sweaty fun are all a part of the nightlife of Pattaya. Hip- hop and Thai hits dominate the dance floor. Candy shop, Hollywood disco, Lucifer disko, Marine Disco, Differ, Tonys entertainment complex, X-Zyte are a few well known nightclubs and discotheques of the city.

Live music and Pubs
For people who dont like the hip-hop and Thai music in the discos can visit the pubs in the city for drinks and live music. These places usually play classics, blues, rock and roll etc. Most places have live bands playing music at volumes that are soothing to the ear. People usually come here when they crave for some nice music by musicians like Miles Davis. Kilkennys, Hard Rock Caf, Hopf Brew House, The Blues Factory, Moon River Pub and Bamboo Bar are some of the pubs one can visit.

Gay and Lesbian Scene in Pattaya
Homosexuality is openly accepted in Thailand. Boyz Town is the most famous place that gays like to hangout at. Many gay Go-Go bars and pubs are located around Boyz Town. Many gay bars also organize ladyboy shows. Though the Lesbian community in Thailand is increasing, the Gay community still has no match. There are no clubs, pubs or bars devoted to lesbians.

Cabaret Shows
The ladyboys or transsexuals in beautiful glittering costumes, perform cabaret shows that offer exotic and interesting entertainment for the entire family. These cabarets are loved by Thai residents as well as foreign tourists and visitors. Extravagant sets, attractive ladyboys in beautiful costumes, song, dance, drama form the cabaret scene in Pattaya.

Tiffanys is the first ever ladyboy cabaret show in Southeast Asia. It is the oldest and longest running show of its type with over 30 years of fame. Each night three shows take place inside the palatial Tiffanys theatre in Pattaya. Alcazar on Second Road is also a very famous and popular show. Malibu is a low key, open air show situated on Second Road.

Apart from the wild nightlife scene of Pattaya, there are a few other low key forms of entertainment in the city. There are two cinemas at Big C and Royal Garden Plaza that show English soundtrack films. The town also has three bowling alleys at Jomtien, South Pattaya and Second Road. Ripleys Believe It or Not is also a great form of entertainment. Thai kick boxing or Muay Thai events are hosted every now and then, one can get information about them at the hotels. Some people just walk down the beach and watch other people enjoying the party scene of Pattaya. Be it pubs, discotheques, bars, transsexual cabarets or Go-Go bars, Pattaya has it all.
