Energy Saving Engine Is The Core Of The Auto Industry

According to the U.S. Department of Energy, by 2020, global oil transportation oil will account for 62% of the total oil consumption. Oil is not an inexhaustible resource. In order to save energy in recent years, the automotive industry works hard to improve product design.

But energy is a systematic project. According to statistics, in last year China's total diesel consumption was 160 million tons, of which at least 60% is consumed by the engine, nearly 1 million tons. Research shows that by 2020, China's total number of motor vehicles will grow to 190 million excluding agricultural vehicles and motorcycles. The cars will consume 360 million tons of fuel and let out 1.17 billion tons of carbon dioxide.

Emissions and fuel consumption are widely considered as the main driving force of today's engine technological progress. In the future the control of carbon dioxide emissions will become a more important driving force. It is reported that the progress of the traditional engine and the development of new power systems can effectively reduce vehicle emissions of the carbon dioxide worldwide.

In terms of energy, compared to gasoline, diesel has features of easy storage, energy-efficient, clean emissions and so on. According to these advantages of diesel, the world's automotive industry widely considered diesel is alternative to petrol and will become the main energy source of cars.

According to statistics, 100% heavy-duty vehicles in Europe, 90 percent of light vehicles, 90% of taxis used diesel engine. European diesel cars accounted for 32% of the annual production of cars. Austria, France, Belgium, Spain, Italy and other countries are more than 50%. France and Belgium are 67%. Austria is more than 71%. It shows that diesel engine has become the trend of the world's automotive development.

Clean diesel engines use the new technology. Diesel vehicles are good in the energy saving, environmental protection and comfort. From the energy point of view, clean diesel vehicles can save 30% oil than gasoline vehicle. The driving force can be increased to over 30% to 50%. In other words, if oil is 10 dollars per liter, one-year fuel consumption cost can reduce 5000 yuan or 6,000 yuan.
