Energy Healing Through Breathing

Energy Healing Through Breathing

By:

If you are looking for an easy way to integrate principles of energy healing into your daily routine, a 15 minute meditation is all you need. The following guided meditation will require approximately one minute for each step. Because the process is so quick, you can find time for it even in your busy western existence. One of the most common healing quotes of our age discusses the inability of so many people to realize that their troubles originate from never stopping. Read on to learn how to stop and take a break.

1.Dim the lights and find a comfortable chair. You want to ensure silence during this activity if at all possible.
2.Begin breathing slow, intentional breaths. Each breath should go slightly deeper than the last. You dont want any breaths to be painful, so dont breath any deeper than comfortable. If you are a typical westerner in any way, you have probably been breathing with your chest for the majority of your life, and so your diaphragm is not as strong as it could be. Avoid this pain as it will distract you.
3.As you find your deepest level of comfortable breath, begin to think the phrase In with each breath, and out with each breath. Continue this process until you have quieted your mind. It will be difficult to cease all thought, so dont try for that.
4.Once you have found a level of stability, begin thinking to yourself, With this breath, I exhale the negative emotions that have plagued me, and exhale. You should replace the phrase negative emotions that have plagued me with a phrase that is more appropriate for your situation.
5.You should then begin to alternate phrases on inward and outward breaths. With your in breath, focus on attracting and absorbing the positive energies that surround you. Specifically focus on the emotions or energies you seek to obtain. For instance, With this breath I absorb a calming energy into my being, or With this breath I obtain happiness from the universe. This phrase is important to be specific to your wishes and desires.

Continue through with these breaths for a total of fifteen minutes. Initially it may help to have a timer set to gently chime at the completion of your exercise, but you may find it more beneficial to practice your first few meditations when you can take as much time as you want.

You will often find that this process helps to free your mind and clear your body of many of the negative energies that have accumulated. You want to ensure that you are able to regularly practice this routine to help maintain a balance of positive energy that keeps you healthy and sane. People often find that they are able to learn how long the process takes and get it done on breaks while at work or while waiting for friends at restaurants, movies, etc. You can learn to use this technique to bring energy healing to your life.
