Emini Future Trading Course

There are two types of E-mini Futures trading options- The E-mini S&P and the E-mini NASDAQ. The E- mini S&P was introduced in the Chicago Mercantile Exchange’s Globex electronic platforms after S&P contracts became too large for small traders. After the success of the E-mini S&P, the E-mini NASDAQ was introduced.
E-mini futures have many advantages over stock and options trading. They have higher volatility, leverage and liquidity. E-Mini futures are 100%. Electronic and have the advantages of slow market slippage, low commissions and consequently long term tax advantages. E- Mini futures trading have the additional advantages of being low risk and easy to access.
An E-mini is 1/10th of the value of a standard contract. And a micro mini is 1/10th the value of an E-mini.
New entrants in the E-mini futures trading market should hire a competent broker. The investor must do a background check on the broker with the U.S. Commodity Futures and trading Commission. It costs $250 to open a live E-mini account with facilities of a bank wire transfer or fund transfer by credit card.
Most E- mini transactions are done during the day and have little risk and a shorter time frame. There are no open positions at night. E- mini trades go on for 23.5 hours a day for five days a week on the March quarterly expiration cycle. E-mini contracts have the reputation of generally returning profits. E-minis are greater in number than stock options. The Dow Jones is made up of 30 blue chip stock while E-minis trade with over 500 companies and represent the overall market.
The advantages of E-minis are that all traders have a level playing field .with enormous liquidity, low margins, short sales a daily market and low commissions.
The disadvantages are that it is a fluctuating market and a trader risks being incorrect in predictions. All E-mini trading platforms on the internet must under law carry a disclaimer that the E-mini trade is risky and not suitable for the uninformed investor. The past successes of the platform cannot be taken as an indication of future results.
