Eminem - Lose Yourself Tour Coming To Australia

The artist has had more than his share of controversy. His early lyrics came under harsh condemnation with critics calling Eminem homophobic and sexist. Furthermore, the rapper has had his share of legal battles and feuds with well-known celebrities such as Christina Aguilera and Everlast. The superstars own mother sued him for defamation of character.
Eminems success helped him to create his own record label, Shady Records, and his third Album The Eminem Show won several Grammy Awards. In 2002, the hip hop artist brought home an Academy Award for Lose Yourself.
Eminem became the best-selling artist for the last decade by selling over 80 million albums worldwide. He is now one of the top selling music performers in the world.
Eminem will be performing at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne on December 1 and on December 2 fans will have another chance to see him perform at the Sydney Football Stadium. The rapper will be joined by Lil Wayne and Hilltop Hoods. Other artists are expected to perform, but names have yet to be announced. Each concert is expected to entertain fans for about six hours and Eminem is likely to perform his most popular hits such as Without Me, Lose Yourself and songs from his new Recovery album, which include Love the Way You Lie.
It has been 10 years since the artist has performed in Australia. Eminems past hits Without Me, Lose Yourself and Love the Way You Lie are on the Australian Recording Industry Associations list for best-selling singles. Furthermore, his special guests on the tour are both multi-platinum hip hop artists in their own right, so it should be a satisfactory show for fans. Lil Wayne brought home a Grammy award in 2008 for Best Rap Album and the Hilltop Hoods have had success with their albums The Hard Road and State Of The Art both of which debuted at number one.
Eminems albums Recovery, The Eminem Show and Lose Yourself have all achieved multi-platinum status in Australia.
Eminems recent headlining performances during two of the music worlds largest music festivals proved the artists determination. Lollapalooza was incredible and Eminems performance on stage was talked about with reverence afterward. Then, at the V Festival, he was complimented by the New Musical Express who stated A fiercely disciplined set. Eminems back, and hes razor sharp, baby.
Fans are in for the hip hop concert of their lifetime when the legendary performer takes the stage in December. Slim Shady is coming to Australia and his intention is to reconnect with long-time fans that have supported his music efforts all these years. Eminem is intending to pay them back with a memorable concert experience.
