Don Omar first appeared in open public at a nightclub . After that appearance he was usually on compilation albums. He received the Latin billboard award for this album as Reggaeton Album of the Year in the year 2007. His third studio album was launched in 2009 and titled el Don with the album specially dedicated to one of his relatives. The first song on the album Virtual Divai became the most required songs on Latin radio stations. His last studio album launched in 2010 was a compilation of collaborations and entitled: Don Omar Presents: Meet The Orphans with other artists under the Orfanato Music Group label.
