Getting rid of love handles if very hard, even for me and I am a personal trainer. But over time I have developed a systematic approach to it all. One that doesnt involve tons of cardio or fad diets. I eat healthy; my clients eat plenty and still lose weight.

Here is a sample of their diet.

Meal 1: P+C
Meal2: P+C
Meal3: P+C
Meal 4: P+F
Meal 5: P+F
Meal 6: P+F

For the first half of the day, you are going to consume nothing but protein and carbohydrates, around 25 to 50 grams per meal. You want to eat your carbs in the morning as opposed to at night because your body handles them better; therefore there is less of a chance of them being stored as fat.

For fat meals, eat tons of veggies. Feel free to add olive to your P+F meals too in each meal if you desire. Eat plenty of fish such as salmon, mackerel, or herring and have grass fed beef as well. This is a very simple diet, but one that works beautifully for my clients and should work great for you too.

Exercise: Perform at least 3 sessions of cardio and weight training workouts a week. You can combine them both going 30 minutes per clip totaling 1 hour of exercise each time. With weight training, do a quick total body workout, pushing yourself, moving from machine to machine until the 30 minutes are up. Take as little break as needed in between sets. For cardio, try and perform some type of anaerobic work such as sprint intervals on the treadmill, bike, or elliptical. In the long run, this will burn more body fat and give a nice toned, lean, look.
