Did you ever concern about the way you communicate with others. How you talk with others affect your performance. Without having effective communication, the focus of your talk will not remain. What you are trying to say should be clearly shown in your communications. In an office sometimes it happens that you are working hard but your overall performance doesnt show that. It happens because of lack of communication. You cant show your performance the way you want. So you need to improve your performance and for this you have to work on your communication skills. There are two ways of communication to others i.e. oral and written. Both ways must be effective. If you are talking you must be clear about it and say only things which are important. But if you are writing there should also follow the same rule.

First talk about written methods. People generally ignored the method of writing and never concern about it. It affects your performance in a great manner. If you want to improve your performance you must have the effective writing skills. You are writing a letter to your client and if he cant able to understand the points you are talking about then it will leave a very bad impression on that person. So just focus on the main point. Write only things which are necessary. Do not write so many things which make your client confused. So if you want to improve your performance try to focus on your writing skills.

After that comes the way you communicate orally. This is the major method for performance improvement and impresses others. If your way of talking is good then you will automatically receive the appreciations from your co-workers or senior ones. Be very clear what are you talking about. Spell correctly each and every word and dont talk in hurry. Just maintain an appropriate gap between every sentence you are speaking so that other may not feel trouble understanding you. You should speak only when it requires. Never try to speak a lot in order to impress other because it will work opposite.
