You should even avoid using a wash cloth on the skin that has the eczema areas. Bring in some music to relax and take your mind off the problem. For kids, be sure to bring in toys that float in the water so they can have a distracting outlet.

For skin care flax seed oil and fish oils which contain omega three and omega six can help to rebuild the skin and can be taken internally. As an added bonus, these oils also help to reduce the sensation of itching.

4) Moisturize a few times a day and keep one near you at work or school. Avoid any that contain alcohol or fragrances as certain forms of eczema are connected to allergic reactions. If you are in an environment where there is air conditioning or central heating your skin is being robbed of it's natural moisture and needs to be replenished. Drink lots of water as well to keep your skin and body well moisturized.
