What you see Done up in a vibrant combination of red, yellow and blue, Mamu Burger is just the right place to have pizzas and burgers at prices which will not burn a hole in your pocket. Blaring English music and youngsters queued up at the ordering counter are characteristic to this restaurant in Hyderabad. Mamu Burger is quite big as compared to the other eating joints in Prasads and can easily accommodate close to 60 guests.

What you get - If you are looking for some quick munchies, the restaurant has options like French fries, Chicken fritters, Chicken nuggets and Garlic bread. The latter is a must try, as it is made using sesame bread and served hot and crisp in varieties like Classic, Cheese, Supreme and Exotic. Crisp from outside, soft from inside, the crispy chicken served here too is lip smacking. All the snacks are served in generous proportions and can easily be ordered as accompaniments.

Coming to pizzas, which are a specialty of the restaurant, the varieties served here are quite good and come in a standard regular size which is sufficient for one person. There are ample veg and non-veg options to choose from. While vegetarians must feast on Veg Lite (onion, capsicum, corn, mushroom and olive) and Veg Supreme pizzas (onion, capsicum, jalapenos, olive, corn, chilli and mushroom), non-vegetarians will surely appreciate BBQ Chickn (chicken, onion, capsicum and mushroom) and Chickn Sheek Kebab pizzas (onion, capsicum, corn and chicken seekh kebab). Generously topped, pizzas at Mamu Burger are baked to perfection.

Burgers too are yummy-licious. In addition to the standard Super Veggy and Chicken burger, they have prawn and fish burgers on their menu for seafood fans. Mamu Burger is also famous for its F1 Burger, which has a crispy chicken patty stuffing with loads of mayonnaise. And if a full burger is too big for your junior, you can buy him/her a veg or chicken Kiddy Burger.

Mamu Burger also serves economical combos. The beverage menu is restricted to soft aerated drinks.

Our verdict The name Mamu Burger, most feel is not convincing. But the food served here negates all such perceptions. It seems to be an affordable eatery with a limited, but good menu. The service generally is prompt, but the wait on weekends can be long. The order is not delivered inside the theatre. They accept both card and cash payment. Paid parking facility is available at Prasads. Outdoor catering facility is also available.
