A good title should be attention getting and catchy. Unappealing titles are often passed over in favor of those with more excitement. Therefore, you should spend time and effort coming up with a title that will garner a second-glance. The title should also be search-engine friendly, containing keywords that are both appropriate and relevant to your niche. Denoting action or procedures which readers are interested in will also help.

Make your eBook as engaging as possible. You should make sure that your book is fun and worthwhile to read for your target audience. You can, for example, incorporate photos, short stories, tips, or anecdotes to make everything fun, interesting and in touch with reality. You can take advantage of side bars to break up your page density and for easy access of information.

Write in a casual tone. Remember that you are writing an eBook, not a science or a text book. Readers are more responsive and interested in writings that talk directly to them. Be conversational, minimize the jargons and complex paragraphs. Write simply and be direct to the point.

Be sensitive to weary eyes! Reading electronically is harder on the eyes than is reading a printed book. Both PCs and PDAs can be exhausting to stare at for long periods of time. To help your readers out, use white space liberally. Also consider using subtle images and clearly, tastefully delineated section breaks.
