Ebay ways to earn money

By: Patrick Sia

So, you want to start up your career through auction using ebay? You will certainly need to starts your eBay experience as a buyer. Learning how to buy through ebay will definitely help you to gain more experience and prepare you for becoming a seller. I would strongly recommend that you should make at least ten successful transactions on eBay before trying to sell. In this article, I have laid down some of the quick tips so that it could make you a better and more successful buyer in ebay.

Find the most popular categories for selling
According to some of the power seller in the ebay, some of the most searched words on eBay are: DVD, Gucci, Longaberger, Louis Vuitton, Laptop, Playstation 2 and Art.

Use eBay's powerful search engine to see what items they are selling and how much they are selling for. You may also want to know the ways that they describe their products and the motive behind. This will certainly help you in drafting your items for selling in ebay.

Speed is everything!
You could easily make a quick buck by selling "trend" items. Try to spot a trend and take advantage of it. If you do spot a trend, you'll have to be speedy if you want to take advantage of it, though. These trends tend to go as fast as they arrived!

Categories your item properly
You should try to include the exact name of the product you are selling. This is important for the bidders to find your auction. However, never place a tilde (~) or a star * next to your auction title. Some of the buyers do that in order to get more attention. This is a No-No as placing them with your title will not come up in a search.

For example, if you are selling a Casio Watch, you should not list your item as *Casio Watch* as it would not result in any items found, because eBay's search engine sees the * as part of the word.

Get professional taken photos
A picture IS worth 1000 words. You may think that it is old-fashioned method, but do you know that people still like to see things before they buy them? For successful eBay selling, you should always make sure that any of your products you listed on eBay are accompanied by professional quality photographs.

Get positive feedback from buyers
If you think that getting buyers is not that important, think again. Feedback will really matters when you're selling on eBay. This is to make other buyers feel comfortable doing business with you. If you have a consistent record of positive feedback, prospective buyers will tends to bid more and will be more willing to pay higher prices. You should try to hold back on listing higher priced products until you have established a successful track record as an eBay seller.

Sell item individually.
You may want to buy item in lots (more than one item per auction, say, 15 phone cards at once) and sell individually (one card/item at a time) on the ebay. You will be able to earn more money through that way.
