Easy Ways To Outsource Training For Your Business

By:

To grow your business, you are going to need to hire people to join your team. A lot of people when they hire people and bring them on full time, get that little bit of worry thinking as you outsource training, I'm going to be hiring them, no one is going to be there watching them. What happens if they're just sitting there telling me a task takes twice as long as it does and then I end up paying them double for a task that really should take half? So you want to make sure you look for honest people and responsive people. Responsive is all about the speed at which they'll get back to your emails.

In a virtual space, we talk to our people on a daily basis and we have a daily check in with those people and just make sure that we can get quick communication from them. This is really important when working online. They have an attention to detail and maybe this is one of my qualities. I'm quite particular when it comes to some of the spreadsheets and the way that we record things. I like things really clearly documented. So that is more of a quality that I look for. I look for someone who is a stickler for attention to detail; especially in a virtual space, that's very important.

Then we've got consistency as well. We have someone that I was looking to recruit at the moment, who was doing some out tasking situations to see if she could qualify to come on and become part of my team doing SEO services. She's just going through writing some articles and posting them on Melbourne SEO. She interviewed fantastically, she had some really high quality work. She sent through some example blog posts and they were fantastic, but when it actually came to consistency and consistently delivering, she's just fallen short. She hasn't been able to meet that. There's always an excuse, always something comes up. So that's a good reason to hire very slowly, making sure that they're going to be an A player.

They need to be a self starter in especially if they are working for you in a small business outsourcing company. I like someone who is a little bit of an outside of the box thinker, someone who will go out there and take some initiative. When you create a system and a procedure often people will talk about McDonald's which has these franchise manuals and systems and procedures where they cook the McDonald patty for one minute and thirty-seven seconds. That's right to the t. The problem with those types of systems for those burger flippers, is they can't think outside of the box, there's no room to be creative. When I create systems, I create systems that give them that little bit of room to move, to make sure that they can improve the systems and think outside of the box.

They've got to love the internet, they've got to be good with computers and especially when you're dealing with people in the Philippines, India, some of these emerging economies, China, you want to make sure that they've got excellent English skills. For me that's an absolute must as you outsource training for them.

When we start, we need to make sure that we write the job ad based on how we do it in our SEO company. The first thing that you need to do is really understand that target market. We need to make sure that we're getting the right bait and we're hooking the right fish. To understand that target market, that has to do with knowing what it is that you're looking for and then clearly documenting that. That includes writing out what it is that they're going to work on for the week, so you know exactly what it is that they're going to be doing when they do come on board. The reason I do that is, I want to get into the mind of the person, my A player. This is really key, as what was also included in my outsourcing training dvds and I do this in so many different areas of my business.

You'll map out what the avatar is, the person that you're trying to attract with this job ad that you're writing and then you drift out of your mind and then you float into the mind of your avatar and imagine what is it that they would want to read in this job ad that would get them interested. So if I'm looking for someone who pays attention to detail when I write my job ads, of course everything needs to have great attention to detail.

I'll write, you need to be able to keep detailed spreadsheets and colour code them and all this type of thing and I'll write that in the ad. That's not going to excite me but that would excite my fish that I'm trying to bait. So it's all about getting really clear on who it is that you're trying to hook especially when you think of doing outsource training for your chosen candidate.
