Here is a snippet of the steps that I took to cure my eczema. I felt a difference in the way my skin felt within two days. And within two weeks it was gone. I followed the treatments religiously and I am certainly glad that I did.

It is a fact that neem has some medical properties. You can apply neem paste on the area with the infection. This can help reducing the itchiness, and also eliminate the bacteria in that area as well.

This is considered to be one of the effective methods to cure eczema. Just bring a plastic bag and put some ice in the bag. After that, wrap the plastic bag with a towel. Then, this ice pack should be placed on your affected area in order to help eliminating the itching symptom.

If you want to cure eczema, you need to stop using scented soaps and detergents because these products contain certain chemical toxins which may cause the skin irritation. Besides, your skin natural moisture can be removed by using these products as well.

I ensured that each day I ate at least one meal that consisted of 65% raw foods. Basically a huge salad that contained bean sprouts, pumpkins seeds, vegetables, salads and a healthy salad dressing. After a short while I could feel and see the difference in my skin. I felt rejuvenated and light.

The clothes you wear is very close contact to your skin. So, you need to be careful about the clothing fibers you wear. If possible, try to wear anything that made of cotton in order to avoid the itching and other symptoms.

Detoxify - Detoxification is a great way to cure eczema. Think about it, sometimes this skin disorder is a way of telling you that your body is being 'poisoned' by certain ingredients you inadvertently ingested or that your body might be allergic to some food that you might not be aware of. You can detoxify by doing a 3-day barley drink fasting method at least once a month to help get rid of toxins in the body. Goldenseal root, oregon grape root and barberry root are all herbal roots containing berberine which has been shown to soothe flaring eczema. You can find prepared tinctures of these herbs in a well stocked herbal shop or online, but be sure to talk to your herbalist about the proper use of these as they are effective if used correctly, but these must be used for a time and then a break must be taken before you can resume taking them. To use add a half a teaspoon of the pre-made tincture to 3oz of olive oil and apply to the inflamed area in the morning and again in the evening.
