Our tour will start with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, containing tombs of the Pharaohs - including Ramses the Great - and site of the discovery of Tutankhamun's treasures, untouched for over 3,000 years, by British Egyptologist Howard Carter in 1922.
- Following this we shall visit the Valley of the Queens and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an astonishing terraced temple partly embedded in the rock face of Deir el Bahri. Our trip continues with a brief photo stop at The Colossi of Memnon before we relax and unwind with a spot of lunch at a local restaurant on the East Bank.
- Next we pay a visit to the impressive Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in the world and the Temple of Luxor, located in the centre of town. Constructed by Ramses II, the Temple of Luxor with its magnificent colonnaded courts is a spectacular sight to behold.
- Our trip will end walking tour of the colourful local market - here you can take in the sights, sounds and smells to gain a real insight into the true ambiance of Luxor.
