Earn Good Money By Becoming A Mobile Food Vendor

By:

No matter how hard money gets, people will always be willing to spend a few dollars on food when they are out and about which means that being a mobile food vendor is one of the safest jobs you could have at the moment.

It is a great business in many respects, because it is fast, flexible and can even be fun!

There are hundreds of locations where these trailers could be parked for a day or two and rake the cash in as hungry people flock by.

Some of the very best places to chose to pitch are obviously places where there are always going to be large crowds, such as music festivals which are always a great place to earn a lot of money because there is such high demand for food. They can also be pitched outside large sporting venues, fairs and circuses, because they are the kind of place where people will be for hours, and in this time, they will need to eat.

This is where the mobile food vendor comes in. What you choose to sell is up to you, but could depend on your location or what equipment you have available to you.

The initial costs to set up and become a mobile food vendor can be quite high, because of the fact that a trailer needs to be bought and it will also need to be done out to make it so that food can prepared in easily and also safely with no risk of contamination.

However, once all of these costs have been paid, then all that needs to be bought for the rest of the time in this business is the food to be cooked and sold, or readily prepared depending on what you decide to sell.

Obviously, the main two options of what kind of food to sell are between the traditional options of hot foods such as hot dogs and burgers, and the sweets and confectionaries such as candyfloss.

There is much debate over which one seems to make the most money, because although hot dogs seem to sell better than sweets at these events, they require more money to prepare because they have to be cooked at the time and cannot be bought ready prepared like the sweets can.

The average profit for a serious full-time mobile food vendor is annually around $20,000.

However, it is the kind of job that could also be done part time, just on the weekends, or after work because weekends and evenings are the times when most events take place anyway so a good profit could still be made.

The mobile food service has become a multi-billion dollar industry worldwide and many people are starting to cash in by becoming a mobile food vendor.

It can be quite easy work as well; mostly all you have to do is roll into town, find yourself a crowd and start selling your wares!
