There are many people in the world that are trying to quit smoking. On top of all the different ways to quit smoking, there is a new device rising up in the ranks. The e-cigarette is a new alternative to smoking that some are using to at least stop using tobacco. There are so many other methods out there that work, but some just don't quite help with breaking the habit and the habit is something that is really hard to give up.

The patch for instance is a nicotine patch that is designed to give you certain amounts of nicotine throughout the day to keep your mind occupied. If you are having a really bad day and stuff is not going your way, you are going to want a cigarette right then to calm you down. The patch doesn't provide that feeling you get from taking a puff off of a cigarette. It doesn't provide the taste or the feeling of smoke in your lungs that can take the edge off. You can't hold a patch in your hand or put the patch up to your mouth to quench that habit.

Another example of a way to quit is with nicotine gum. The gum has its advantages over the patch. With the gum you can pop a piece in when you feel a craving coming on. If you are having a really stressful day you can just chew this gum and hope your cravings go away. The bad thing about the gum is you have to constantly be chewing on it to keep your mind off smoking. You could go through a pack a day and not feel any better. With the patch and the gum you can't really regulate the nicotine you are getting.

The electronic cigarette gives you the feeling of smoking without really breathing in all that smoke and tar. The e-cigarette uses e-liquid that vaporizes and gives you the feeling of smoking. You get the feeling of holding a cigarette and breathing in vapors to sustain the habit. The best part about using an electronic cigarette is the fact that you can regulate your nicotine intake and still feel like you are smoking. With the e-cigarette you can also take as many puffs as you need without smoking a whole cigarette.

You can start with the same amount of nicotine as a full cigarette. Then you can gradually go down in nicotine level till you need little to none in a day if you choose to. The electronic cigarette is not designed to make someone stop smoking, but to allow them to continue to enjoy the habit without the nicotine and other harmful aspects of using tobacco. With the ability to regulate nicotine intake and how many puffs you take a day it's up to you how often you use it just as it was up to you how many tobacco cigarettes you smoked in a day.

The e-cigarette provides you with the tangible effect of holding a cigarette, but with your willpower an easier way to stop using tobacco. With all the ways to quit smoking or just stop using tobacco it is mostly up to the person who is trying to quit or just wants an alternative. So if you want a cheaper and a faster way to stop smoking tobacco, yet still be able to enjoy the nicotine and a mock act of smoking, then an e cigarette might be the product for you to try.
