E Cigarettes Are Becoming The New Rage Among Tobacco Smokers

If you have never smoked tobacco cigarettes, then you may or may not have heard of electronic cigarettes. It sounds like a weird foreign product of some kind, but actually they have become quite popular among tobacco smokers for several good reasons. Smokers have long been tired of being tied to tobacco and it's horrid attributes just to be able to get the nicotine they want. Finally, smokers can have a choice in what they smoke and how they are able to do it.

In the first place, using an electric cigarette is not necessarily even considered smoking by most of those that have taken up using it. Many prefer to refer to it as "vaping" instead. This is because there is no actual smoke produced when using the device. It creates a water and nicotine vapor in place of the smoke you get when you burn tobacco by fire. The burning tobacco produces large amounts of tar that a cigarette smoker inhales along with the nicotine and the electronic cigarette does not.

For quite some time now it has become socially unacceptable for a person to light up a tobacco cigarette around non smokers because of the secondhand smoke they produce. Once lit, a tobacco cigarette will continue to put out smoke whether the smoker is inhaling or exhaling or not. An e cigarette only emits a small amount of vapor and only when the user exhales. Even then the vapor disappears so quickly that you barely have time to even see it before it is gone. There is also no offensive odor produced by the nicotine solution of the electronic cigarette. An E cigarette user can puff on the device around others and unless they see you do it, there is no smell to give you away or to offend others.

Another contributing factor as to why smokers are starting to use e cigarettes instead of continuing to smoke tobacco is the cost. It can cost a smoker half as much to use an electronic cigarette when compared to buying tobacco cigarettes. It is easy to refill the nicotine filters with e liquid and this makes it even more economical. The safety and health issues concerning the e cigarette is still being debated by some, but the majority of e cigarette users firmly believe they have made the best choice possible for getting their nicotine and being able to indulge their inhaling habit.
