Durable Power Of Attorney Clarifications

What happens to your properties, power and asserts if something disables you from acting? This must be signed by you when you are under proper health conditions.

The person authorized by you would be called as attorney in fact. Even if your life partner and you hold some assets or accounts jointly you should sign an attorney document. Only then your spouse will be able to sell or make use of the financial assets. You can also write this power of attorney that can be put into act at present. But you should sign this to someone who you can trust completely to be on safer side.

To make this document accessible only after your disability, you should make a statement that this power of attorney will be effective after my disability. And you should also mention what are the criteria under which you can be declared as disabled. As long as you have not faced any disabilities you can revoke the attorney document you have written. The common issues for which the durable power of attorney is written are borrowing money, carrying out banking transactions, handling legal issues, etc.
